  • itraconazole (Sporanox) or ketoconazole (Nizoral)

  • heart rhythm medicine such as amiodarone (Cordarone, Pacerone), quinidine(Quinidex, Quinaglute), procainamide (Procan, Pronestyl), or sotalol (Betapace)

  • carbamazepine (Tegretol), phenobarbital (Luminal), or phenytoin (Dilantin); or

  • rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane)

If you are using any of these drugs, you may not be able to take Levitra™, or you may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment. Contact your Doctor to discuss your specific situation.

There may be other drugs not listed that can affect Levitra™. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use as well as any illegal substances you may have taken. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors.

Usage

Do not take Vardenafil in large doses or for longer than recommended by your Doctor or Physician.

Do not take Levitra™ more than once daily. Always allow 24 hours between dosages.

You are recommended to take each tablet with a glass of water and the medicine may be taken with or without food. Vardenafil should only be taken when required, up to 60 minutes before sexual activity. The medication will help achieve an erection when sexual stimulation occurs.

While taking this medicine, what are the signs of negative side effects?

If after taking Vardenafil you become dizzy or nauseous, have pain, numbness, or tingling in your chest, heart, arms, neck, or jaw during sexual activity, immediately cease and call your doctor. You could be having a serious side effect and need to assess the situation right away. if your erection becomes painful or lasts longer than 4 hours you must contact the emergency services as a prolonged erection (priapism) can damage the penis. Sudden vision loss is a known side effect of Vardenafil and it has occurred most often with people who have heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or pre-existing eye problems and in those who smoke and are over 50 years of age.

What to do if you suspect an overdose?

If you suspect you have ingested too much of this product, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe nausea, dizziness, fainting, chest pain or prolonged erection.

How should I store my medicine?

This medicine needs to be stored at room temperature 77F (25C) in a dark, tightly sealed container, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of Children at all times. After using, remember to secure the lid of your medicine and return to its storage place. Failure to do so may result in diminished product quality over time. Your medicine has a shelf life of 18 months from date of production.
