Please ensure that you avoid direct contact of Generic Retin A (Tretinoin) with your eyes, mouth, nose or even on your lips. If contact with any of these areas does occur, please wash with water immediately. Also, do not use Generic Retin A (Tretinoin) on irritated or broken skin, on areas of sunburn, or in areas where certain allergies or sensitive areas such as eczema occur. Wait until affected areas clear up fully before applying the cream. It will also take weeks or even months before you see true results of this product, as the skin, needs to gradually nenew it's cells.

Precautions

If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant please consult your doctor. As it has been proven that this product can be harmful to unborn babies. Reasons being Tretinoin can pass into breast milk and be harmful to a new born baby. Finally please do not use Retin A (Tretinoin) if you are breast feeding a baby, as it can be sensitive to the baby's skin.

The effects of trentinoin on the skin can also have the opposite effect if human allergies are present, and can be responsible for chronic photo-damage. If irritation in any form occurs, please stop using the product immediately and contact your local doctor or physician. Also please DO NOT apply Retin A (Tretinoin) on any areas where broken or irritated skin is already present.Below is a list of situations where you should stop using Renova (Retin A).

• Presence of irritated, chapped or broken lips

• Sensitive skin due to burning or allergies

• Unfamiliar skin discolouration

• If feeling faint, or any possible mental reaction to the cream

• If you are pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant

Usage

Please read full instructional manual before applying the cream, as suffers can different forms of skin disease can have immediate reactions to the cream. It is imperative to note that, Retin A (Tretinoin) does not eliminate wrinkles or sun-damaged skin, but simply aids in the process of slowing this formulation down, and helping the skin to replenish itself. However, to ensure impressive results from this products, you must avoid regular direct contact with the sun, to allow the cream a chance to help rebuild the skin cells. Retin A (Tretinoin) DOES NOT ELIMINATE WRINKLES, REPAIR SUN-DAMAGED SKIN, REVERSE PHOTOAGING, or RESTORE MORE YOUTHFUL or YOUNGER SKIN

In double-blinded, vehicle-controlled clinical studies, many patients in the vehicle group achieved desired palliative effects on fine wrinkling of facial skin with the use of comprehensive skin care and sunlight avoidance programs including sunscreens, protective clothing, and non-prescription emollient creams.

• Retin A (Tretinoin)has NOT DEMONSTRATED A MITIGATING EFFECT on significant signs of chronic sunlight exposure such as coarse or deep wrinkling, tactile roughness, mottled hyperpigmentation, lentigines, telangiectasia, skin laxity, keratinocytic atypia, melanocytic atypia, or dermal elastosis.

• Retin A (Tretinoin) should be used under medical supervision as an adjunct to a comprehensive skin care and sunlight avoidance program that includes the use of effective sunscreens (minimum SPF of 15) and protective clothing.

• Patients with visible actinic keratoses and patients with a history of skin cancer were excluded from clinical trials of Retin A (Tretinoin). Thus the effectiveness and safety of Retin A (Tretinoin) in these populations are not known at this time.

• Neither the safety nor the effectiveness of Retin A (Tretinoin) for the prevention or treatment of actinic keratoses or skin neoplasms has been established.

• Neither the safety nor the efficacy of using Retin A (Tretinoin) daily for greater than 52 weeks has been established, and daily use beyond 52 weeks has not been systematically and histologically investigated in adequate and well-controlled trials.

While taking this medicine, what are the signs of negative side effects?

You should contact to your doctor or physician as soon as possible if you notice any of the following:

• allergic reactions like a rash, excessive itching, hives, a swelling of the face, lips or tongue

• chest, heart or arm aches or pains

• irregular, rapid or skipped heartbeat

• back or muscle pain

• flushing or redness of the skin

• sinus problems

• nausea and dizziness

   

Generic Retin A, or Tretinoin, as it's active chemical ingredient is known, comes in two different formats. Both come in cream based tube, however their strengths differ depending on the level of damage of the skin. For skin that needs slight reparation, we recommend the 0.05% version of active Tretinoin in the Retin A (Tretinoin). But if you are slightly order and are trying to combat excessive wrinkles, and long term direct sunshine damage, we recommend the 0.1% version. Both versions come in a 20g cream tube.
